Music and movement is an integral part of our everyday schedule at C.O.O.L school. Classical music is played throughout the day to enable the children to enjoy the relaxation and the thought enhancement, such that music generates
*Daily engaging in a repertoire of songs in English, Spanish, French, Zulu, Russian, Japanese, and sign language accompanied by an acoustic guitar, piano and children's music CD's
* Self-expression in music - use of percussion instruments- guitars, piano, tongue-drum, ukuleles, strum-stick, tambourines, cymbals, bells and drums, etc.
* Rhythm exercises- use of clapping exercises and lummi sticks for beat and tempo patterns
* Music appreciation- learning about famous composers through music, stories, and movies
* Introduction to basic orchestral and band instruments- string, brass, percussion and woodwind
* Daily dance and movement to a variety of music

Hula and Scarf dancing, Chinese ribbon sticks and hoola-hoops
